It must be done via their API, at their servers. Once filters are selected, only the wanted genre(s) show up in the app. It’s fantastic never having to be assaulted by the junk that’s of no interest to music lovers.
But to what menus would they be applied? I tend not to navigate to places where I'd expect music I don't like.
