Welcome to the plugin and the forum. I am assuming that you have configured the plugin settings in the player menu. Does it work correctly in terms of powering the AVR on and off? What client app are you using to control the picore player? Some client apps don't allow volume changes for players with volume fixed at 100% by default but nearly all of those provide a setting to override that behavior, which is what you want to use. Some examples are iPeng, Orange Squeeze and Squeeze Ctrl. Squeezer and the native LMS web client both pass volume changes to the player regardless of settings. Take a look at the plugin's wiki pages, which are linked from the DenonAvpControl player menu, for more info. Good luck!
