That's correct (though I would have reversed the arrows ;-)).
if this is correct, is there practical advantage of running lms inside
rpi4,
so as to eliminate some lan traffic?
I doubt it. What problem are you trying to solve? And it would only
eliminate the traffic for that one instance of Squeezelite. If you have
more than one player then it's irrelevant.
