I'm using the Rpi 3 B+, PicorePlayer, LMS. Volume is adjusted via the LMS interface in a browser or via e.g. Squeezer. Receiver is a Denon AVR-2400H. Of plugins, I've only installed UPnP/DLNA Media Interface by Andy Grundman.
