Pommes, Paul, Sorry I did not get a chance to respond earlier. I had experienced the same problem maybe a year ago on an Odroid U3 with Max2Play. It only occurs when importing the JSON file with CCH. After you import you can add the degree symbol "º" back in using CCH and it will display as Pommes originally planned. Cheers...
