For more than FIVE decades, I've purchased (and later recycled) electronic gizzies with standard 3-pin NEMA sockets on them.
_____ / o \ | O O | ------- I saved the "3 prong wall plug to NEMA plug" cords after the unrepairable electronic gizzies died. I never lost the habit, and now have about 60 more cords than I will ever need. DOES ANYONE WANT SOME? Pickup in eastern Beaverton. I don't drive, so I don't deliver. Otherwise, the cords go to Surplus Gizmos in Hillsboro, which will know how to recycle them. I'm keeping the oddball ones (very short, very long, right angle, extender, etc.) Keith L. P.S. Perhaps this belongs in PLUG-TALK, but many of you have Linux machines with NEMA sockets. Or pets that chew cords to get you off the computer. -- Keith Lofstrom [email protected]
