Good point John. I've got gigabit fiber from centurylink here in portland and I'm never going back.... I split the cost with about 4 other people on my property and an airBnB so it ends up being not too bad. The total cost is $160 / month after the promo period ends, but I can reliably get over 900 mbps symmetrical throughput.
