Perhaps someone here has insight to a behavior that showed up this week.
Platform is SeaMonkey on the Toshiba Tecra laptop running xubuntu-9.04.

Whenever my wife tries to view a Web page a message box pops up telling
her that SSL is disabled. While I don't think that's a big deal when viewing
a page, it's annoying. However, when we go into Edit->Preferences->Security
we see that the two SSL options are enabled and all warnings are disabled.
With this configuration I cannot see why that warning box displays.

   Any ideas?

This weekend I'll reinstall 9.04 and see if that cleans things up.
