Before doing a new installation of xubuntu-9.04 on the Toshiba Tecra 8000 I want to back up directories that need to be restored. In addition to /home, I'm thinking that /etc ought to be backed up, too. Any others?
Also, is there a directory or configuration file to which I can add the orinoco and orinoco_cs modules so they're automatically loaded when the system boots? This was apparently lost in the not-quite-perfect upgrade from 8.10 to 9.04. See you at the clinic tomorrow. Rich -- Richard B.
