They were using an Irix box for "almost a decade??" let me see... that means 1999 or so. In other words, an obsolete Irix supercomputer. I wouldn't be surprised if it was an Origin200 only. Maybe an Origin2000. 195MHz R10000 processor, maybe 8 of them in there.
