My two cents - I really like this idea and this would be a **very** useful feature for those of us that really dislike swap space and have OOM problems (one too many browser tabs). But I'd set the intervals at 5-10 or even 20 minutes (not seconds). Also, I suggest renaming it to "Memory Limit" or something else (a better description). Otherwise, nice work!
