Having to scroll through a huge list of users is a pain. The discussion at
https://github.com/sddm/sddm/issues/406 focused on the security issues of
displaying the available usernames. There are cases where displaying the names
is preferred, but this could be done in a more space efficient way (e.g. over
multiple lines, with vertical scrolling for very large numbers).
Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
Create a large number of users and try to login.
Actual Results:
You need to scroll through a huge list.
Expected Results:
You can select the username without (or with limited) scrolling.
