Hi,

for me it look to "boring". I'm working on a cooperate design from grub to the
shutdown menue. and plymouth is one part of it.

I made a grub theme and some mockups you can get everything in the
share.kde.org and the forum thread.

My idea was to have the plasma background on top an "transparent" black
overlay. Big header on top on bottom a toolbar compare to the plasma standard
panel and in the middle an vertical align element. For plymounth I would move
in the middle the konqui-app-hardware-mascot
https://share.kde.org/index.php/s/jXXooedZYlyUqkC with an rotating circle for
the booting element. if the harddisk wil be scanned the
konqui-app-hardware-mascot could play tetris and when you have to enter the key
the mascot could be animated don't know. only an idea.

my focus was same "style" for everything an useful (nice and good readable)
background and in the center the stuff you need.
