The versions are now: kded (5.7.0-0ubuntu1) vivid; urgency=medium plasma-desktop (4:5.2.0-0ubuntu1) vivid; urgency=medium plasma-framework (5.7.0-0ubuntu1) vivid; urgency=medium Turning off power saving of the monitors seems to be an effective work-around. If I turn energy management back on, kded5 is starting to use one cpu core again.
