Hi all, now, the look and feel selection KCM is merged. one thing to note, the name of the default l&f package is now org.kde.breeze.desktop (still open to renames until next frameworks release, so if you have issues with the name please speak now)
ui-wise is still very simple, just a thumbnail grid one chooses what he wants. for the vdg was better going this way then progressively adding more features (one idea was to merge configuration of everything in just that page instead of separate kcms.. wether works or is desiderable w'll see in next releases, piece by piece) so... please test it, especially how the kcm behaves when is closed and reopened and how behaves when changing the theme. there are now a couple of bugs that may be quite showstopper: https://bugreports.qt-project.org/browse/QTBUG-37062 (will be fixed in 5.4, not sure about 5.3) and https://bugreports.qt-project.org/browse/QTBUG-40765 both cause the whole kcm to be black and stop rendering if around half of september situation is not cleared out, i'll port the 3 kcms (l&f, splashscreen, lockscreen) back to QWidget::createWindowContainer() that kinda sucks using xembed, very slow resizes and what not, but at least doesn't show those problems -- Marco Martin _______________________________________________ Plasma-devel mailing list Plasma-devel@kde.org https://mail.kde.org/mailman/listinfo/plasma-devel
