This bug https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=329199 has been open since the 12th of December last year. You were even on the bug CC list when I assigned it to me before I started working on it. </grumble>
As for the widget explorer popups. I agree for a different reason. License, Author and Email are completely useless pieces of information. With my user hat on I don't care, and with my developer hat on; this information is completely wrong 90% of the time. For example Martin G is listed as the author of kickoff, despite being 5th on git shortlog -sne. That only leaves: - title, description and the uninstall button. title and description we have on the delegate. Which means we have a popup just for uninstall. Which is wrong. With regards to this patch, is it still useful?
