We discussed Ivan's mockup (see attached). This is really 2 parts: Displaying running activities (everything on the left) Drag and Drop between activities (on the right)
Focus will be on the part on the left, the second part can come later. Will all agreed we liked the switcher. Ivan Cuvik plans to work on it. There was consensus that pressing meta+tab should visually behave like the alt-tab switched, switching between activities. We then had a discussion that switching between animations should have an animation; Jens (our designer) was very in favour explaining that they add visual clues explaining why items change. Martin says kwin can't animate it because it's hard. We discussed making something like the desktop switcher OSD. No-one was explicitly assigned this task. There were some specific comments on the mockup: - It should have a tiltle - The create button should be moved below the list - We should have a fixed order of activities so it's easy to remember where to click.
