case of C++ system tray applet. I can see many messages:

hm.. and if you put the battery widget directly into the panel, or on the
desktop or dashboard, it works?
Battery works if I click on its icon, but if I click on name (text) then
battery doesn't work. I think it is a regression, because I've found out
several facts:
* Old C++ tray has the same problem (git checkout master to switch to
C++ tray)
* Battery applet doesn't work but applet for Network manager works if
I click on its name
* KDE 4.8 is now system KDE and battery works as expected, but in
locally installed KDE (master or 4.9) battery doesn't work, it
doesn't work on KDE 4.9 -- future release of my distro.
