yes, but what is the use case? in which case is it important to move the 
monitors by small amounts in a given axis?

ok, i'm going to sound like a broken record here, so apologies in advance, 
but: what's the use case for knowing the absolute position?

the reason i ask is that if the interface does not need to provide such to-
the-pixel features, then it becomes a lot easier to make and use ...
