One could simply run some "virtual Effect::demo() = 0;", yesno?
So why have the user wait for the download, stressing kde.org servers,
just to see a low-res video of an effect demo that could show up instantly?
For promition, link yt videos and let gg pay for the traffic ;-)
actual player (with it's own Window) might be more attractive than
embedded play within KCM. But yes, that gets into politics -- which of
the video-player programs built on KDE to recommend?
