as a follow up to this, there is now a libkactivities branch in kde-workspace which makes it use libkactivities exclusively rather than the functionality- duplicating classes in libkworkspace. if i get approval for bringing the kactivities module into the 4.8 release, then i'll merge this with master. -- Aaron J.
