Apart from that everything is the same except that it puts me on time pressure to finish it before Friday.
A few things which could be mentioned from KWin front: * Performance optimization in Effect Handling and Window Painting * Massive performance improvements in Blur effect by caching the generated blurred backgrounds (kudos to Philipp Knechtges) * Foundation for easier Effects through AnimationEffect class (kudos to Thomas Lübking) * New binary kwin_gles gets build if system has OpenGL ES - allows easy switching to GLES.
