problem in logging out

hi, i have applied for kde-SoK and have built kde from source codes.
however, i am facing error in logging out or shutting down system the system.
after i click for logging out , a dialog box comes but when i click on
it, nothing happens.
same is for all other icons except hibernate.
i am using opensuse 11.4
