You are right! I downloaded the KDE live cd with KDE 4.6.0 and the plasmoid reported the same error that I got with KDE 4.6.0 under my OpenSuse 11.4 installation. Then I tried it with the KDE live cd with KDE 4.6.2 and everything worked fine. Thanks for your help.
