i'm going to be considering over the next few days what sorts of things i'd
personally like to see. i think it would be useful to find ways for the
students to work on things that are not big projects (they too often get
abandoned shortly after making it into svn), but useful improvements to
existing things. i'm considering some javascript API tasks and some plasmoid
ideas.

Valorie has created the page to collect ideas. It's a cleaned up copy
of last year's page. Please add plenty of ideas as soon as you can:
