hi ... i committed two sets of changes yesterday to libtaskamanger and the tasks widget:
* a change to libtaskmanager that re-groups windows that were previously ungrouped because they were marked with 'demands attention'. this is obviously a bugfix, but the change to accomplish it, while not tricky, was a bit bigger than i expected at first. * a change to the tasks widget that marks the window list popups with Qt::Popup. there was a comment in the code that maybe one day we could use Qt::Popup for them, but that for now (when the comment was written) handling it ourselves was working better for "focus purposes". in testing with Qt::Popup, i found no focus issues (even keyboard focus with tab, shift tab, etc. works nicely) so i change it to use Qt::Popup since that makes clicking outside the popup _always_ close it both of these things were bugging me for quite a while, so i'm happy to have them fixed. however, they are both more-than-small changes and this is a rather important widget in terms of people relying on it working well ;) so i'd appreciate it if as many of you as possible can update kdebase/workspace/libs/taskmanager and kdebase/workspace/plasma/desktop/applets/tasks and pay attention to how things are working. if i don't hear of any regressions in the next couple of days, i'll backport. both sets of changes are working rather nicely here, but one person really isn't enough for this .. :) -- Aaron J.
