those also aren't available from the desktop scripting API. doing so would be a moderate amount of work but also open the question of "what are the implications of that?" which would be fairly far ranging since it would essentially make the desktop scripting extensible using plugins, which means any sort of actual control over what happens is completely off the table. i'd like to keep desktop scripting contained for predictability and safety. -- Aaron J.
