We should say what we want to convey without referencing the word "supported" anywhere which is a phrase we should avoid when it's ambiguous. Something like: "A new version of Plasma <%= plasma %> is available, which may have already addressed your current issue. Only critical and security fixes will be backported to this release. Blah blah blah, please upgrade"
