REVISION SUMMARY
  The idea is to offer an option, possibly default, to make the panel opaque 
when a window is maximized on the same screen. 
  There are a couple of things missing:
  
  - An option to disable it
  - Making opaque/ background svg same as transparent but opaque (so without 
outline but with shadow)
  - This probably makes all panel opaque if you maximize a window on a screen, 
when you have 2+ screens on a single virtual desktop
  
  Still, I opened the diff to get some feedback on the implementation
