I used to think this was really important but am less sure now. I don't feel the need to push for it, but nonetheless Aleix is right that it's pretty common user request--not just in that bug report but in other places too. So we might not want to dismiss the idea out of hand. I'm preparing for a conference next weekend in which I plan to represent and promote KDE, and it occurs to me that this would make it really easy to highlight KDE's vast software catalog to interested parties.
