Hi there, we talked on #plasma, I added the fprintfs and got the output below. I *think* the crucial and fscking things up part is the last part:
"Invalid D-BUS interface name 'org.kde.plasma-desktop.PlasmaApp' found while parsing introspection" This seems to happen enerytime a plasma-desktop process encounters another such process running (i.e. when I start a second plasma-desktop process, same thing happens). Anyway, I'll be on #plasma if you need me to test things.
