Dear Plasma-devs, krunner has received quite some attention in the past six months, the default interface has been nicely revamped (aseigo touch) and a few nasty bugs have been fixed (some are still there, most probably either libs or qt issues); in one word krunner is now much more usable than ever (yay!).
I'd really like to see more runners rolling around in 4.4; we already have (in no particular order): * Martin's proposal for a kwin runner * the ones in playground (which are more or less mantained) * wish for device (mounting / unmounting) runner [1] * I also remember (imagined?) Chani mentioning she wanted to add basic plasma widgets management with a runner I've also the following (random) ideas: * improve the web_shortcuts runner, by using, for instance, some new Dataengines (such as the youtube dataengine featured in MediaCenter) to provide search results directly as query results * kmix runner (mute/unmute; volume management) * skype runner (via dbus, simple calls, start chat, stuff like that) [2] * generic dbus runner (??) I'd like to have some feedback about these thoughts, and some ideas on what you would feel as useful runners for 4.4.
