Hmm, makes sense. I didn't think of it that way. I personally dislike not being able to close the calendar just by clicking anywhere else, since I usually just remember the information I looked up and that way I don't have to aim for the clock again to close it, but I understand why passive popup has it's merits in case of the clock. Problem: we can't just give passive popups keyboard focus, because one of the reasons for passive popups in the first place, was that they don't steal keyboard focus.
