Hi, I had a personal request to modify the Timer widget to allow for a date countdown, and this is what i came0 up with. Basically, the configuration dialog allows you to choose between Time and Date and gives you an extra tab page to select a date. When date is selected the timer shows the amount of days left until the selected date.
Not sure if its worthy of integrating, but i thought i'd throw it in anyway, because it might be useful enough. Thanks David Goemans
