Either way, they are annoying. How about: 1. The information (or fatal is appropriate) icon appears on the panel (as it does now accompanying the messages if the options=true or defaulted). 2. I can choose the option of not showing the popup messageboxes. Instead, I click on the icon and get a list with the option to clear. 3. I can scroll through the list to read them individually. This would be much less of an annoyance but let me receive the messages.
