I have a .desktop file and main.py file for a simple DataEngine. How do I go about actually installing the DataEngine into the system? (So I can then use plasmaengineexplorer to see if the DataEngine is doing what I expect.)
I tried Install New Widget | Install from File | Python Widget and pointed it at the directory that contains the .desktop and main.py files, but that didn't present me with any useful options. Doc
