Package: nm-connection-editor
Version: 1.36.0-3
Severity: normal
Hello,
Like discussed in IRC, mobile-broadband-provider-info is not installed
anymore but it seems that nm-connection-editor needs it.
Searching in the source code of the archive[1], it seems that the files
provided by this package are used at several places, including by
NetworkManager itself.
I see several solution here:
1. make NM depends directly against mobile-broadband-provider-info
2. make libnma0 depend against mobile-broadband-provider-info (with or
without NM recommending or suggesting it)
4. Make nm-connection-editor depends against mobile-broadband-provider-info
again
3. Let the desktop meta-packages depend on it
My preference goes to 1 or 2 as this will cover most of the packages
Kind regards,
Laurent Bigonville
