Hi folks, I have several accounts configured in evolution and it is very
annoying to have a notification that tells me new mail is there but I have to
search it on my own. And then when found it may be very unimportant or annoying
stuff like spam. In short, having some header information in the notification
would be just a great feature! Search-folders don't work well in complex folder
structures so they won't help here much. regards Michael

evo patch
for evolution;
I'm not much willing to do a mail reader in a notification bubble, thus here's
a fix to show the folder name as "account_name/folder_name", then show also
sender and subject in the notification bubble, but only if there is just one
message arrived. The DBus is receiving also msg_uid, msg_sender and msg_subject
values, if available (also for one message notification only).
The proper notification plugin can check for changes in active folders, or use
the same event and check for a folder by mail_note_get_folder_from_uri, and
then test whether new messages arrived since the last test. Just a thought.
