I have the same problem. I also lost all the setup on my mailboxes, such as which fields to display in the index.
I can access mail on the IMAP server on my local subnet. I cannot access mail at a remote IMAP server. I performed a full dist-upgrade on my box last week. Evolution was working fine. After dist-upgrade today, Evolution is broken.
