Hello :) Could you check if the problem with the missing icons, reported in http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=360859 is fixed with libgtk2.0-0 2.8.17-1.
That version of gtk contains a fix for fallback to the default gnome icon-theme.
