Hi Siarhei, I am building on an old PowerPC G4 Mac.

Also is it a 32-bit system? Does reducing the level of optimizations help? This can be done by setting the CFLAGS environment variable to "-O1" or even to "-O0" before running the configure script. Does disabling Altivec help? This can be done by setting the PIXMAN_DISABLE environment variable to "vmx". Are you sure that the newly built pixman library is used for tests and not some older installed version. You can try to run pixman configure with an extra "--disable-shared" option and check if this affects anything.
