Strange... (I mean it's strange that it worked before. I don't think that
setting would work unless you have your own mail server in your pc.)

I think what DL meant was to change "localhost" to

  (Ex.)  smtp.yourdomain.com

In that case you'll find that info by clicking Tools -> Account -> Mail ->
Property then click "Server" and check under SMTP.
