thanks for your answer. I hoped there was a function to specify the doctype of the document generated. Apparently there isn't. It's as sad thing as I have to create another script just to add the doctype.
Can someone just confirm me it's not possible with php to do what I want? I find it strange you can read the doctype but not set it.
