Hi, how come on the "view source" link on the bottom of the php.net homepage shows a whole mess of php code but when I select "view page source" in Internet explorer or netscape in shows everything as html on the home. This is kinda hard for me to explain, here is an example below:
<p> Ever wondered how popular PHP is? see the ' . make_link("/usage.php", "Netcraft Survey") . '. </p> (how come they use that "make_link" tag?) <p> Ever wondered how popular PHP is? see the <a href="/usage.php">Netcraft Survey</a>. </p> (how come when you view the source from the browser like IE or netscape it shows it as regular HTML?) I'm totaly confused can someone please help me?????!!! __________________________________________________________________ Pre-order the NEW Netscape 7.0 browser.
