Would this have to be done with ODBC? Or are there any easy ways to
link to the MySQL API libs via VB? I'm curious to know too...

A Visual Basic and MySQL project. Ouch, not exactly made to work
together. Plus Commercial + Open source, although that doesn't mean
much. Really if you make them work together, I'd LOVE to know how. VB is
one of my best real App programs. Next to C++ of course =)
