[PHP] help with multi dimensional arrays

I get a syntax error on strlen.


   $newTypes = array();
   $newTypes[0] = array();
   $newTypes[0][0] = "Starting with"
   $newTypes[0][1] = strlen( $newTypes[0][0] );
