Are there any advantages/disadvantages to using and of the ` " or ' punctuation symbols in MySQL queries? I usually only put them around variables (after being sanitized, of course):
INSERT INTO places (country, city) VALUES ('$country', '$city')
Any thoughts on the issue? Thanks.
