I'll continue to split hairs. As anyone who has given a "talk/presentation with slides" knows, a slide-show came originally via a slide-projector wherein individual "slides" where loaded into, and out-of, the slide-projector (i.e., refresh). So, a slide-show would only be applicable if the images were loaded in a complete refresh manner.
