The term "CSV" is very common; it means "Comma Separated Values". It is the format that originally was (and is) used by the Basic language. When someone says "CSV format" or "CSV file" I understand quite well what they mean or should mean. It is not a standard format, but it is nearly standard. I have no idea what a "CSV file that resembles a spreadsheet" is and I especially have no idea what a "doc with CSV" is.
