[PHP] php-4.3.7 installation error

[Nguyen, Long P (Mission Systems)]

I ran the following:
 
./configure --with-mysql=/usr/local/mysql --with-apxs2=/usr/local/apache/bin/apxs  
--->  came back OK
 
make   ----->  and got the following
 
.....
olv -lm -ldl -lnsl -lcrypt -lcrypt  -o libphp4.la
ext/ctype/ctype.lo: file not recognized: File truncated
collect2: ld returned 1 exit status
make: *** [libphp4.la] Error 1

 
Any ideas?
